Partners 305: Missions Forum/Training,Toronto Conference, Free Organ, Disaster Tips

Missions Forum: For over 19 years a group of people from local churches called 7M has met weekly to promote global missions and serve missionaries in any way they can. They meet each Monday morning from 7-8:30 AM at Shoney's Restaurant, across the street from Founders Inn in Virginia Beach. This coming Monday, January 14 - Myra O'Reilly will be leaving for the missions field this month and will tell us about it. Also, Rev. D.B. Martin, pastor of South Norfolk Baptist Church, will talk about his work in India. And Joan and Chuck Dewing will be with us from Malta. January 21 - Roy Olson, missionary to Romania, will speak. Email Jeff Anderson at jbjj@cox.net to get on their email list to know of all future speakers or to offer to speak.

Missions Training: Elijah Company Missionary Training Camp - February 7-10, 2008 at Living Waters Farm in Valentine , VA. Four days of exposure to the world of missions. It is designed for those God is calling to domestic or international ministry. There is a wide range of topics to give one the ability to know their call and how to walk into it. Consult our web site at www.elijahcompany.org to get a complete scope of what is offered or call to 757-287-4604.

How to Survive After a Disaster: These tips can help your family know what to do to disinfect water, use a car in flooded conditions, pet care, food care, etc. Click here.

Annual Toronto Conference: The Toronto Blessing folks will be at the Founders Inn again in Virginia Beach on Feb 20-23 to host the blessing of the Father that has touched millions around the world since 1994. 4 million people have come to their church in services 6 nights a week to partake of the refreshing Presence of the Lord in Toronto. Many hearts and bodies have been healed and thousands saved. Besides John and Carol Arnnott, new CBN CEO Gordon Robertson will speak, plus Bill Johnson, who pastors a church in California where his people regularly go into the streets and heal the sick--and many get saved as a result. Register at www.ctfministries.com or call 1-866-500-003. Evenings are free. Many good people have understandably criticized this ministry for years. These are odd meetings--but they are still the best personal ministry I have ever seen--or experienced myself. What happens in these meetings is very similar to what happened in the two Great Awakenings in American in 1740 and 1801. God is in these meetings. I strongly encourage you to attend.

Free Organ: It is a beautiful home theater organ--a Conn 646, weighing about 400 LB. Works well and has a manual. The owner lives in Newport News. Call me at 226-2683, if seriously interested. You would be responsible to pick it up from the owners home.
