Partners 296: Be Trinitarian! Saints Not Sinners. Free Airline Tickets

Don't Forget the Father! Over the past 15 years or so , I have seen a tendency in local churches here to mainly talk about Jesus in their worship services. I suspect this is a national trend. Even a cursory study of the Bible argues for a more balanced focus on all three Persons in the Trinity, but especially a focus on God the Father. The entire Bible clearly shows God the Father is the Preeminent Person in the Trinity. Almost every reference to God in the Old and New Testament is to the Father. The Father is the one whose love sent Jesus to earth as John 3:16 so beautifully declares. Jesus talked about the Father and to the Father all the time. Jesus claimed he came from the Father, was given a Kingdom ( Luke 22:29) and followers by the Father, was going back to the Father and had an assignment to complete from the Father. Jesus prayed to the Father all the time on earth, taught us to pray to the Father and still prays to the Father in heaven for us ( Hebrews 7:25) . Jesus came to reveal the Father to us and one day will hand the Kingdom He had built on earth back to the Father who gave Him that Kingdom ( ICor 15:24). In summary, Jesus came so that we might know the Father. Jesus declares that eternal life consists in knowing the Father--and Jesus whom the Father sent ( John 17:3).

May I humbly suggest to church leaders that it is time to corporately recite the Lord's prayer again in Sunday services, Sunday School classes and the like? May I suggest that we teach people more about the "love of God" the Father as well as "the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ" ( 2 Cor: 13:14). We live in a fatherless generation when millions of people have not grown up with a father in the home or had a terrible experience of being fathered. I was raised without my wonderful father or mother at home due to their divorce. Relatives tried to raised me, but without the love I needed. Experiencing the incredible love of my Heavenly Father as a small boy saved me from self-destructing into sin as a boy and later as a man. I want every person to experience that inner witness of the Holy Spirit that cries out "Abba, Father" ( Rom 8:15). To that end, I commend to you again this website: http://www.Fathersloveletter.com

Saints Are Not Sinners: I would like to challenge the saying, "I am a sinner saved by grace." We were sinners but now we are saved, sons and saints after becoming a new creation in Jesus! Sinners is a technical term in the NT to mean unsaved and unrighteous. Both the Jews and Jesus made that contrast many times using the same Greek word, harmatolos
(Strongs word # 268) in all 44 verses where it is used in the NT. There is just no way to reconcile the incredible declarations of who we are in Christ with the biblical concept of sinner. Christians do sin, of course, but we sin as chosen, beloved, accepted, justified, righteous, sealed, born-again, transformed, Spirit-dwelt children of the living God. Sinners sin continually with little regard for God or any relationship to God. Jesus came to save sinners (Matt. 9:13) but once saved, we are no longer poor, depraved, condemned, helpless, enslaved sinners. That's why the good news is so good! The devil wants us to focus on how bad we are/were. God wants the opposite focus once we know Him as Heavenly Father through Jesus!

Credit Card Ministry:
Now that sounds like an oxymoron, doesn't it? But Merlin Miller, former pastor of Landsdown community Church in Virginia Beach made me a believer! Merlin travels extensively to Ukraine to help orphanages there. His plane tickets are free.

His company pays large commercial bills with a credit card that generates airline miles. Those business transactions are sending him on mercy missions several times a year to desperate children in Ukraine. Many businesses--even non-Christian ones-- would do the same to help desperate people around the world. Someone just needs to ask. There is probably a businessman in every church who could be the liaison with other businessmen for such things. Why haven't we thought of this before? May God give you all favor with businesses to partner with in pursuit of His glory in the nations! If you get more miles than you can use, please share them with other ministries. Personal ambition and jealousy have kept us from sharing resources with one another for too many centuries. Freely we have received; freely give.

May God give you all fresh wisdom and zeal to know Him as Father and build His Kingdom even during these hot summer months. The devil is not on vacation. Be alert. Be available. Tougher times are coming and our communities and the nations will need and want the Church's help more than ever.

Partners 295: Electonic Evangelism, Spir. Strongholds Seminar, Women's Ministries

Electronic Evangelism: The Lord is leading me to encourage others to spread the Gospel via electronic means: email, websites (Skype, Pal Talk), newsgroups, chat rooms, phone , radio (ham, short wave, internet radio), podcasts, TV ( local cable, etc). Please send me your suggestions on this.
  1. Receive phone calls or emails at home from people seeking to know God by volunteering with Need Him! See http://www.needhimresources.com/ and follow the links. This is exactly what CBN does about 12,000 times a day. You can lead people to the Lord and help them grow in the Lord right from your home!! Every city should have a service like this that local churches support.
  2. Here's a good e-zine for using MySpace for non-profits. 2 teens raised $300,000 for Sudan recently using MySpace and another similar website.

Identifying and Destroying Personal Spiritual Strongholds - Norm and Debbie Przybylski will present this key teaching used especially to prepare missionaries. The purpose of this seminar is to help and encourage believers to know and use the weapons of divine power in order to be free from emotions and behavior contrary to God’s design. The seminar is based on scripture and has proven effective in many lives. It is a key ingredient in spiritual warfare. For information or registration write to elijah@elijahcompany.org or call 403-3279. Date: July 14. Place: Kempsville Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach.

Women's Ministry in Tidewater: I have always felt that women's ministries in Tidewater face strong spiritual opposition--especially ministries for women in leadership. It is hard to find a long-term group for pastors' wives in Tidewater, for instance. Where are there support groups for other women in ministry? All this is related to the sins of our forefathers. The enemy has oppressed women through men in Tidewater since the founding of the Virginia Colony in 1607. Women were excluded from the first three ships to land here. Of the first two wives who came to Jamestown, one was killed by her husband--- to be eaten in the famine of 1610. In 1619, the the first large group of women came to Jamestown: 90 women sold as servants or wives to some very rough men. Many women, white and black, died here in those early years--worked to death as servants in the tobacco fields of Tidewater.

Therefore, it is important to encourage women and ministries to them and by them whenever we can to defeat the enemies plans to harm the lives and ministries of women. Marie Umidi has led The Man called Jesus play all over the world for over 20 years! Katherine Allen has led the region's largest ministry to sexually-broken lives through Sought Out for many years. Here is one such ministry that I just came across that you may want to know about. It appears to be led by an African-American lady with a healing ministry to women.

Letter to White-Supremacist Group: I have a few pastors who have agreed to sign that letter decalring that the white pastoral community does not agree with the recent letter to Black residents here attacking them for being Black. Among those pastors are John Dooley of Apostles Lutheran, Bobby Collins of World Outreach Center, Frank Drake and Lynn Garrett of Level Green Baptist. I want to have 200 pastors sign that before we send it. Please email me to let me know if you will support this with your name and your church name.

Math Tutor: This is for my wonderful wife, Beth. She just retired form teaching math in schools and now wants to do more private tutoring in math. Beth has 20 years of experience teaching math in schools and as a tutor for grades 7-12, especially high school math. She is certified by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) as a math teacher. Almost all of her students will tell you that she is one of the best teachers they have ever had--especially in math. You can reach her at 474-0729.

This is a detailed historical and theological appeal to the Church to repent for the sins of our fonding fathers here in Tidewater, Virginia. Without significant repentance by the Church, these sins will continue to plague our region and qualify us for more of God's judgment that is coming on all of America. some repentance occurred in the last two months, especially for Native American issues, but 98% of the Church in Tidewater was not involved and is still clueless about those sins and their effects on people today.

Partners 294: A Call to White Hampton Roads Pastors

Dear Pastor,

On May 25, 2007, 30 Virginia Beach apartment residents received racially-motivated hate mail from a national Neo-Nazi, white-supremacist group with a branch office in Roanoke, Virginia. The Black residents had complained to city officials about the racially abusive ways of their landlord against his Black tenants. The hate mail came to them in retaliation for that. There is an article in the Virginian-Pilot about it that you can read online at http://content.hamptonroads.com/story.cfm?story=126418&ran=7950

The letter that came to them claims to speak for white people. Obviously it does not. But white pastors in Hampton Roads now have a God-given opportunity to publicly respond to such sinful rhetoric by someone claiming to speak for whites on racial issues. Together, we white Christian leaders can send a letter to that white-supremacist group clearly declaring our opposition to their position. If we do send this letter, the Virginia-Pilot may do a story on our letter, according to the Pilot reporter I spoke with.

This is an opportunity to show our community where white pastors stand on racism and the so-called white supremacist agenda. To not say something in response can imply that the white pastors of Hampton Roads do not disagree with what has been publicly said against Blacks. Please lend your name and that of your church to this prophetic statement of truth. The white supremacists need to hear us and so does our region--especially the minorities in Tidewater who may wonder where the white pastors and their churches stand on such issues.

There were many decades when white pastors did not speak up against racial injustice and oppression in Tidewater against Jews and Blacks. Now is our chance to make amends and to not allow this group or any group to think that the Church will tolerate racial oppression of any kind in Hampton Roads.

The letter was designed to frighten and intimidate innocent people for daring to oppose racial abuse against Blacks. According to Susan White of the Virginian-Pilot, parts of the letter were so abusive that the Pilot could not print all of it in the newspaper. The letter used the N-word six times in three paragraphs. The cover story of an magazine included with the letter was called "The Negro Beast". The magazine carried derogatory articles about Jews and blacks.

This letter ended with this veiled threat:

"You may get one over on your landlord this time, and you may not. But know that the white community has noticed you and we know that you are and will never be anything more than a dirty parasite - and that our patience with you and the government that coddles you runs thin."

Jesus said His people were to be like a city on a hill--doing good works so that others would see them and glorify Him. This is such a time when the Christian leaders of Tidewater can glorify the Father by standing for His truth and His love for all people. Loving our neighbor requires no less than this. To not speak out now allows people to believe that we agree with such a letter--as many of our forebears have in this region just decades ago. Silencio dabit consentio: Silence gives consent.

I strongly encourage you to add your name and that of your church to this letter that will be sent to the group that has tried to intimidate our region's residents. To add your name, simply reply to this email with your name and the name of your church. Doing so means that you agree to have the letter below sent to the accusing group with your name and church name printed as signatories to the letter. By giving me your name and church name, you also agree that this letter and its signatories may also be printed in the Virginian-Pilot. Give us your name even if you cannot give us your church name to use due to church approval protocols that would substantially delay the sending of the letter. See the letter below.

Confession of a former Christian white-supremacist who used the Bible to recruit: http://www.geocities.com/onemansmind/hg/Cochran.html

The Letter

Mr. Bill White
Commander
The American National Socialist Workers' Party
PO Box 8601
Roanoke, VA 24014

Dear Mr. White:

The below-named pastors of Hampton Roads feel compelled to respond to your letter of last May to the residents of an apartment complex in Virginia Beach who filed a Fair Housing Discrimination lawsuit against their landlord on racial issues.

As you know, some of our Christian forefathers have not spoken out as clearly or as often as they should have against statements such as yours. We also deeply regret that. As white spiritual leaders in our cities and in this region, we ought to have clearly declared that God is totally opposed to racial discrimination of any kind against Blacks or Jews or any other group. Your previous anti-semitic statements are particularly hard for us to understand. All Christians follow Jesus, a Jew whom we believe to be the Jewish Messiah, who declared that "salvation is from the Jews" ( John 4:22).

In your letter to the apartment residents, Mr. White, you claim to speak for white people when you wrote:
"You may get one over on your landlord this time, and you may not. But know that the white community has noticed you and we know that you are and will never be anything more than a dirty parasite - and that our patience with you and the government that coddles you runs thin." ( Emphasis added)

The below-named white pastors of Hampton Roads cannot and do not agree with you. We, too, notice those residents you wrote to. They are valuable members of our community who have a destiny from God just as you do. America is a great nation partly because it is a blend of many ethnic groups and nationalities. Native Americans voluntarily kept starving white Englishmen alive with donations of corn in the 1607 Virginia Colony. Blacks later made America prosperous by their hard labor in our tobacco and cotton fields. Chinese helped build our railroads. Now Latins pick our crops that feed our nation. America is built upon the talents and hard work and mutual respect of many ethnic groups. This is what has made America great: her citizens have learned to respect and honor each other despite many differences.

Because these things are true, we cannot agree with your beliefs that the color of a person's skin or their ethnic derivation determines his or her value as a human being. If you had received a letter condemning you because you are white, we would be equally strong to defend your dignity and value. This is the American way. This is why God has blessed America for so many years. American values and laws are often rooted in the Bible of the Jews and the Christians. Respect and love for people of every ethnic group is one of those values. As a nation, we have not often followed that belief as well as we should, but today, in the 400th Anniversary of the white Virginia Colony that founded America, we affirm that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. Your letter, Mr. White, makes mockery of those rights. As white Christians and as Americans, we appeal to you to uphold the Bible and the Constitution of the United States which both affirm that all Americans should be treated with respect and dignity.

Sincerely,

The below-named Pastors

Partners 293: Episcopalians Divide, Teens Winning Kids, Worship Conferences

Virginia Episcopalian leaders suing their churches who want to leave the denomination because the denomination has left its historic teachings on homosexuality.
From Messiah Church ( Formerly Episcopal) in Chesapeake, VA.
"Thanks for your prayers. We have received another letter from our former diocese, which is what we expected. They threaten to sue our trustees, vestry and clergy, both individually and corporately, which is what they did in Northern Virginia. Sadly, this was also expected. What I did not expect is how they purport to speak on behalf of the state of Virginia. They write that because we have disassociated ourselves from the Episcopal Church and associated ourselves with the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA), our property has ceased “to be used for the purposes for which religious congregations are authorized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church…” I understand the reference to the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church, but the Commonwealth of Virginia?"

Child Evangelism Training for Teens. Teens can and do win hundreds of children to the Lord every summer in Child Evangelism Camps around the nation. Grade-school kids are the easiest people to win to Jesus on the planet! About 80% of everyone saved got saved before they were 15!! Reaching children should be at the top of every church's evangelism focus. Saved kids can get their parents to church!

Teens can win kids and those teens become super-charged evangelists with kids and others afterward! The national staff of CEF ( Child Evangelism Fellowship : http://www.cefonline.com ) will be trainign teens to run summer clubs for kids from June 17-22 in Surry at Eastover Plantation.
One parent/pastor says," It is a fantastic program that trains teens on presenting the Gospel to children via 5-day or 'Backyard Clubs'. We heard about it several years ago through a friend and have sent all of our children to the training, as well as each teenager in our home church! It has been so valuable in their walk with Christ and their boldness for His kingdom! If you would like any more information, please feel free to contact
us" Pastor Andy or Marilyn McFie at: 965-7070--work, cell phone, 237-1927 or home phone is 463-5838. (Andy is a contractor who has built an inner-city church using his building skills. I know and highly recommend Andy and Mariyn to anyone who has a heart to reach the inner city and reach kids.)

Ice-Cream Truck Evangelism
Back by popular demand (;>) is an idea that the Lord gave me years ago. I know it will work. Let's do it before the Mormons or Muslims do!

First, you send out an ice-cream truck into neighborhoods where there are kids to reach with the Gospel ( almost anywhere--especially in at-risk places). Sell ice-cream but give and extra scoop/treat to kids who can answer a simple bible question each week which is posted on the truck's side. Once a week, have a harder question that requires the kids to get the help of their parents to answer it. Basically, this is a rolling Sunday School ministry.

After two months of that, invite the kids on your route to a park for a kids party, complete with free ice-cream, face-painting, clowns and a Gospel presentation all done by several local churches. Many kids will give their hearts to Jesus and the churches can divide them up for follow-up. Do this several times a summer for several neighborhoods. Watch God change lives, families and neighborhoods--and the churches that do this!

Partners 292: Historic Repentance, Deliverance Ministries Needed

Historic Repentance in Tidewater: To God's glory and to the greater blessing and protection of America, the five major sins of the 1607 Virginia Colony were publicly repented for last week. On Sunday, April 29th, during The Assembly 2007, for perhaps the first time in Virginia's history, an Anglican priest washed the feet of a Virginia Native American chief in repentance for the grievous sins of our Anglican forefathers in founding the colony and this nation.

On May 3, during the regional National Day of Prayer at First Baptist Norfolk, that same Anglican priest apologized to a Catholic Deacon, a Presbyterian pastor and a non-denominational pastor for the oppression and persecution by Anglican leaders of all non-Anglican Christians during the 17th century in Tidewater. The Catholic Deacon also asked forgiveness of the Anglican priest for what the Catholic Church had done to precipitate the breach between Catholics and Anglicans in England centuries ago. Heartfelt apologies and prayers of repentance were also expressed to a group of women Christian leaders for the terrible sins against women by colonial men in Tidewater. These two sets of sins may have never before have been addressed so thoroughly in Tidewater before.

Finally, we attempted to repent for the pervasive sin of the love of money in Virginia's founding. It seems to some that the Church needs to embrace repentance for that sin in greater depth in order for its defiling effects to be broken on the Church now. Nevertheless, God must be pleased with the words adn acts of repentance He received in the past week in Virginia Beach, VA. May the the other Christian 400th Anniversary events in Tidewater continue to build on what has already been accomplished. See. www.1607dna.com for more details about those five sins.

Many thanks must be given to the hundreds who have prayed and worked for many months for these events to honor God, repent for sin and rededicate our nation to Him in sincere humility. The safety and future blessings of America depend on that. See why in the next article.

God is Judging America: Pastor Jack Hayford, Bishop Bill Hamon & Alice Smith have now joined the ranks fo many other respected Christian leaders who are warning the American Church that God's judgment is about to increase on America for its increasing decadence and for the passivity of the Church to that sin. Click here to see more details.

Deliverance Ministries Needed: The Virginia Tech massacre may not have happened if more churches had biblical ministries of deliverance from evil spirits! In a small article from the Washington Post cited in our local newspaper today ( Virginian Pilot, May 6, p A17 or see), the mother of mass murderer Seung-Hui Cho told of how she sought help from several Christian congregations in northern Virginia to get her son delivered from evil spirits last year. By the time she found a church that would offer that ministry, her son had to return to Virginia Tech for school.

There is similar to a story I read about another crazed gunman,
Larry Ashbrook, who shot and killed 7 people, three of them youth, at a church youth service at a baptist Church in Ft Worth, Texas in September 1999. According to the story I heard ( which I cannot verify), Mr. Ashbrook had gone to another church in Ft. Worth shortly before the shootings and begged for someone to cast demons out of him. Being a typical evangelical church, they said they did not offer that ministry. A few days later, that tormented soul, shouting anti-Christian curses, killed 7 people during a church service and then killed himself.

I believe that story. I believe that many crimes could be avoided if people know they could get set free from destructive impulses even they do not want. Sadly, the Church has largely disowned the ministry of Jesus in casting out demons. It is a wonderful ministry--and one that is greatly needed in our increasingly addicted, violent and abused nation.

Pastors, please consider establishing a credible, supervised and available ministry of deliverance for your congregation and for your community. It can be done and it must be done if God is do "set the captives free" in our region and nation. This ministry can saves the physical lives of others. It could have saved 33 lives at VT.

As one who loves this ministry and who has been involved in it for many years as a pastor in several denominations, I would be glad to talk to any church or ministry that wants to know more about this powerful biblical healing ministry of Jesus. I can also recommend others in Tidewater who are seasoned and effective in this ministry. I welcome your inquiries. ----Bob Fox, Editor.

Freedom's Fortress Celebration May 24:
The three ships that first came to Virginia in 1607 stopped at what is now Ft Monroe before heading to Jamestown to plant the colony. On May 24th, from 6-8 PM, Ft. Monroe will commemorate that visit and the unique role Ft. Monroe played in freeing thousands of slaves starting in 1861. The evening ends with cannon salutes to the nation! Despite the federal fort setting, the organizers of this event are fervent Christians who will try to communicate the spiritual values of these two events as much as possible.

Partners 291: 2007: The Year to Repent & National Day of Prayer , May 3

2007: The Year to Repent. As Tidewater and America remembers the 400th Anniversary of our founding, it is time for the Church in Tidewater and the Church in America to publicly repent for the five major sins of our founding fathers in the 1607 Virginia Colony that started here 400 years ago and continues to influence our nation today. God is so eager to see repentance for those sins that he has had the Virginia government lead the way! It’s time for the Church to follow suit.

The Virginia General Assembly has just become the first state in
America to finally apologize for slavery and to Native Americans for some of the worst human rights abuses against any people in any nation--- for over 250 years of slavery. The Virginia resolution says government-sanctioned slavery "ranks as the most horrendous of all depredations of human rights and violations of our founding ideals in our nation's history, and the abolition of slavery was followed by systematic discrimination, enforced segregation, and other insidious institutions and practices toward Americans of African descent that were rooted in racism, racial bias, and racial misunderstanding." Slavery of Blacks began Tidewater 1619 when about 20 Blacks were purchased by English farmers as indentured servants from a Dutch slave ship at Yorktown, VA. The government of Maryland and Georgia are now considering similar pronouncements.

Few Church leaders in Tidewater or in America have ever apologized for slavery or any of the other four major sins of our founding fathers: abuse of Native Americans, abuse of women, abuse of non-Anglican Christians and the love of money. The Church’s silence on these five sin patterns needs to be broken in 2007 if the Church wants to protect America from more of God’s increasing judgment and to qualify from more of His blessings in the great global revival to come.

This year’s National Day of Prayer regional meeting on May 3, 2007 will take place at First Baptist Church in Norfolk, VA. From 6:30 to 9:30 PM. During this annual prayer meeting for America, participants will be part of a repentance service for these five major sins of our founding fathers. Churches will be given resources to duplicate similar repentance services in their own worship settings. Doing this widely and deeply within the Church in Tidewater will greatly please God and allow Him to release greater blessings and protection on our region and nation. Read II Sam 21 again to see why.

To help churches prepare for this season of repentance for some of the foundational sins of America, Partners will provide an article on each of the five major colonial sins. Each of these articles are chapters from my book, Healing America’s DNA, which can be previewed and ordered at www.1607dna.com

The first article will be on the main sin of our founding fathers that was used to push them into most of the other sins: the love of money. This is Chapter Seven of my book which can be seen in either of two formats at the website above. To see just the text as a website, click here. and choose Chapter Seven. To see it this article with illustrations in PDF form, go to www.1607dna.com and choose Chapter Seven from the table toward the middle of that page length.

Partners 298: "Time's Up"--A Prophetic Warning

Greater Judgment on America is Imminent

"Judgment"! That what Bill Bright, founder and president of Campus Crusade for over 50 years instantly said to my question in 1998, "What is God saying to America now?" Dr. Bright had just finished another 40-day fast for America.

Billy Graham apparently said in the late 70’s that “if God doesn’t judge America soon He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. The outpouring of repentance in the three Washington’s for Jesus and other similar events may have bought time for America, but that time is up.

Recently, the Lord seemed to strongly show me that “Time is Up!” America’s God-given season of extended mercy is over. He is not going to wait any longer to bring greater, more severe judgment on our land due to its relentless, growing decadent sin that is infecting many other nations who look to America for leadership in media and culture.

Most people may not want to hear any more about this subject, but it you do, click here to see my blog called His Severe Mercy. Several national Christian leaders are quoted saying that God is about to judge America severely. God is looking for repentance in His Church for their sins and the sins of America. ( 2 Chron 7:13-14). God is looking for churches to call sin sin and call people to repentance. Time is up for playing church as usual. That’s what I believe the Lord is saying to His Church now. May God confirm His word to His Church.

Two Hampton Roads Churches Under Fire By Their Bishop

No more dramatic reason of why God has to judge America is the increasing number of Christian denominations who are ordaining practicing, non-repentant gay pastors. The United Church of Christ, the Presbyterian Church (USA) and The American Episcopal Church all teach that their churches can ordain homosexuals as pastors. Despite 3000 years of Judeo-Christian teaching and example, the leaders of these three denominations now believe that God approves of homosexuality. Two former Episcopal churches now face the loss of all their church property so wanting to follow the Bible instead of their denominations new theology on sexuality. Messiah Church in Chesapeake ( formerly the Episcopal Church of the Messiah) with Senior Pastor Marty O’Rourke in Chesapeake and Galilee Church ( formerly Galilee Episcopal Church) in Virginia Beach with Senor Pastor Dr. Coleman Tyler are being threatened by their bishop to get in line with denominational policies or lose their buildings. You can read many more details about this on Galilee’s website at http://www.galileechurch.net/faq/article-1999922930c439548.htm and on Messiah’s website at http://www.churchofthemessiah.org/

David Wilkerson predicted churches would ordain gays in his 1973 book, The Vision. Few believed it could happen in America. Now it has and God now has no choice but to severely discipline America and His wayward Church for it. Please pray for both of these godly, courageous churches.

If pastors want to sign a petition to the local Episcopal bishop, appealing to him to Messiah Church to leave the denomination with its property, contact Apostles Lutheran Church. They are helping coordinate this petition for Messiah Church. Call 757-547-4692 or email to office@Apostles-Lutheran.org

I urge every pastor who loves the truth of the scripture to stand with Messiah and Galilee in any way they can—to include prayer for them in your Sunday services. This battle is just the beginning of other battles for the soul of the American Church that is under attack today. A house divided will not stand against strong evil. That evil is not coming…it is here.

Partners 297: Videos of Muslim Converts, 400th Ann. Events, 24/7 Prayer

More than Dreams: These are five 30-minute, high-quality videos that will rock the Muslim world--and a few other worlds. Thousands of devoted Muslims have had dreams and visions of Jesus over the last 15 years. Hundreds of cases are well documented. Five of those people tell their story of meeting Jesus this way and how it has radically changed their lives. Now you can watch them for free--- right off the internet at this web address: http://dreamsandvisions.com/English/
Please pass this web address along to your church leaders and missionaries. It is a powerful tool to win Muslims.

The Assembly 2007: In 2007, America celebrates its 400th Anniversary of being founded by the Jamestown Colony in 1607. Several prayer events are being planned by Christian leaders in the Hampton Roads area ( See below). Arise America will be in Williamsburg, VA. in June, and another one will be at Fort Monroe, VA.

The largest of these Christian events will probably be at 20th and Atlantic in Virginia Beach on April 29. That 5-hour prayer meeting is called The Assembly 2007. Many national Christian leaders and government officials will gather to pray to rededicate this nation to God as it was dedicated in 1607 by the first colonists here. If God allows, there will be
representatives from Great Britain and Spain there also, along with Native American leaders, to pray together in repentance and reconciliation for the sins of the Jamestown Colony in the founding of this region and this nation.

From April 26-28, a Consecration Conference will be held at the 5200-seat Rock Church sanctuary in Virginia Beach. This conference "will feature major Christian leaders and powerful speakers, nationally-renowned gospel singers, and thousands of believers coming together for one purpose: to call America back to God. Join Bishop John and Pastor Anne Gimenez and noted ministers and speakers like John Hagee, Rod Parsley, and Kenneth Copeland, and many others." Call 757-217-2103 to register. Go to http://theassembly2007.org for more deails. Please pray for God to have His way in this historic meeting. I believe that God deeply wants America and Great Britain to repent for those foundational sins so that He can heal our land and lessen His current judgment on America.

Arise America: June 9, 2007 at William and Mary Hall, in Williamsburg, VA. T
his 400th Anniversary meeting will feature Native American leaders ( Chief Ann Richardson at right, is one), African-American leaders and Messianic Jewish leaders. See http://www.ariseamerica.com/
